Domestic Short Hair - Velvet (cp) - Medium - Baby - Female - Cat
Velvet (solid gray) was living under our deck with her brother Bluie. She got her name for her soft, dark gray fur. We brought them in and provided all the necessary veterinary care including fixing them both. She also loves the laser pointer, cat dancer and ping pong balls. Velvet LOVES treats and will do just about anything for them. I've taught her to bump her nose to mine when I say the word "kiss," for a treat of course. This has really helped her over some of her shyness and she is growing more confident as the days pass. She will climb on you for the treats and is getting more accustomed to being handled. She purrs her little heart out and gives you her dreamy look when she is happy. She always uses her litterbox and she likes her big scratching post Velvet and Bluie must stay in their room, away from our other pets. Im hoping to find them a home or longer-term foster where they can be given a lot of love and attention while being further introduced to life indoors. It would be wonderful for Bluie and Velvet to go together (they love to wrestle and chase each other and Bluie helps Velvet with her confidence by showing her how its done), but they could be separated.
